YOGA WEEKEND IN KÁRÁŠJOHKA
10-12.02.2023

Would you like a yoga weekend with me? Holding a yoga weekend in Kárášjohka. The forms of yoga we will delve into are ashtanga and yin yoga. We will also have breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditative moments. We have two forms of yoga.

 

Ashtang yoga is a dynamic form of yoga, which includes a series of movements (asanas), and each movement leads one on to the next movement. 

The movements are linked together with a flow of breath (ujjayi), focus points (drishti) and lock (bandas), and all the parts help the body to be cleansed of suggestive substances, at the same time the body becomes softer. Through the movements, you learn to focus, breathe and strengthen yourself physically and mentally.

 

Yin yoga is a therapeutic form of yoga. Yin yoga's long postures calm both the body and the mind. The muscles get an opportunity to rest, as the body and mind go into a deep relaxation. Each position can last several minutes and in this way you can dissolve bonds in the body. 

Yin yoga is suitable for all bodies. It is also suitable for people who train a lot, but who need to "soften" the body without performance requirements.

 

Both forms of yoga are adapted to both beginners and those who have been doing yoga for quite some time.
